 We are pleased to introduce to the international audience the first number of the academic journal in English language Bosnian Studies – Journal for research of Bosnian thought and culture. Journal is published twice a year by the Bosniak Cultural Association “Preporod” and edited by editorial board whose members are academicians from Bosnia and Herzegovina and abroad. Our main idea is to offer valuable insights to those interested in researching Bosnia and Herzegovina and South-Eastern Europe, complexity of the culture and history of peoples sharing this part of the world through original scholarly and review articles written or translated into world-known language by team of young interpreters. The first number of our journal covers various interesting fields settled in historical, social and cultural context of Bosnia and Herzegovina such as theory of literature, cultural anthropology, cultural history, historiography and education. Second issue will be devoted to the contemporary constitutional and political thought, education and Bosnian language. We are open for innovative and creative scholarly papers which would support our efforts in promotion of Bosnian culture and thought. We hope that Bosnian Studies will become a significant part of your library collections staying at disposal to scholars, students, researchers and members of wider public.  Therefore we cordially invite you to become our subscriber. Subscription for the first volume for abroad is 40 EUR, plus 6 EUR for postal costs. Price of one issue for abroad is 20 EUR, plus 3 EUR for postal costs.
